, I just had a bad flare a few weeks ago lasting about a month. I was

concerned whether I'd live through this one. I had a back injury the first part

of August and it still isn't better, on top of this. I've tried chiro, physical

therapy, muscle relaxers, pain meds....and still very little improvement. We

are going through an extremely stressful period as we are probably going to be

leaving our church and our respective ministries. I'm sure that this doesn't

help the situation. I haven't had a flare like that since I had my first about

12 years ago. The flare has settled, THANK GOD!

Someone mentioned that their family doesn't understand. At least my husband is

very supportive, but I have people all the time saying, " well you look good " .

You can tell they think I'm a nut case, so does my boss. My job at a law office

is also extremely stressful (19 years). Not sure I'll be able to continue this

pace anymore. I only missed a couple of days of work during this recent flare,

but I'm not hitting on all 8 cylinders and the muscle relaxers make me really

slow. My work product can't be very good.

Hope this passes soon for me and for you. Prayers going up for you.

My joints are torn up

This last flare up hit my knees and elbows badly was in tears for a few hours of

it also. The inflammation lasted like 2-3 days hard core. Now that the

inflammation is gone my joints feel torn up and always sore and cracky. I

remember this feeling from my first flare and I dunno this stuff is horrible.

Its been a week now and I really dont feel inflammed but what damgage has been

done is done. Has any one else get flares like this. I have been on the couch

for a week now trying to heal the joint damage but it doesnt seem to be getting

better. Will this eventually stop hurting or heal my joints? Do you guys go thru

this to? Drives me crazy insane.
