Guest guest
I haven't been on this forum in some time. So I thought id share my story again. At the age of 25 is when I became very sick with reactive arthritis. It all started after I had been dealing with a bad case of urinary tract infection which lasted for months. I went to planned parent hood to get tested multiple times because I thought I had an STD " burning on urination " but every test came back negative, and they didnt give me an answer. They tried treating me with a single dose of antibiotics but that did not work. Mysterously it just went away one day, but then a few weeks later after a very stressful day at a family event I came down with a very bad horible fever I will never forget. That is when it all started my friends. Fever, foot, ankle, knee, elbow, wrist, fingers, inflammation-fevers that I almost commited suicide on. All of my joints except my hips and shoulders felt inflammed on both sides of my body. I also came down with the worst case of psorasis on my face and the top of my head, and started loosing my hair at this time to male pattern baldness? Anyways the bad fever lasted 1-2 weeks I was in bed with night sweats, fevers, nervous physcho shaking. I was not right and I knew it. I couldnt walk or move my arms without my joints feeling like they were going to ripp apart from so much inflammation. My joints feel like bone-on-bone. I went to the doctors after a month of this because I didnt have insurance. I wish I would have went the first night but stupidly I didnt. My doctor took blood and to my suprise he found no inflammatory markers at all. He said I was perfectly healthy. The only thing he found was the gene hlab27 and said its possible I might have reactive arhtritis or psoriatic arthritis. I said to him " my doctor " How can you say im perfectly healthy? I have been in bed for a month with fevers and the worst joint inflammation in my body I almost killed myslef. He said I had mental problems and most of it is in my head because my blood work came back completly normal except for the hlab27. I went to several other doctors after this guy and all of them say im perfeclty healthy. I have lossed all hope in doctors, and dont take any synthetic drugs. I have dealt with this disease myself for the past 6 years. I am now 31 years old. I have tried every natural antiinflammatory diet and supplement I could buy or find. Somtimes it helps while other times I just deal with this pain " inflammation " My feet and ankles are always on fire also my prostate is on fire to but I deal with it. Im used to the pain but it drives me insane. This past month I came down with a very bad flare up that hurt my knee joints badly. I actually feel like my bones are rubbing together. After researching this disease for the past 6 years now I read an article saying auto immune diseases is your immune system attacking a bacteria or viral infection that it cant get rid of so it keeps attacking and attaacking. It says your immune system is not dumb but its trying to rid your body of bacteria or viruses that it cant get rid of. I have started to take colloidal silver as my last treatment as everything else I have tried has not done anything. I will keep this post updated as I feel like a sick lab rat doing experements on myself to cure this condition. I have been taking colliodal silver at 10 ppm as my choice. I am desperate to try anything to cure this disease. Has anyone on this forum benifitted from colliodal silver?
Guest Bokdori
I got mine after a fancy buffet in Guam which gave me food poisoning. I could barely walk for a few months and after 9 months, I thought I was completely cured. But then flare ups came back and now I know when it's gonna rain or snow. I am an Asian Woman age 38 and it is a very rare disease for Asians and especially for a woman. T.T I am also trying some herbal remedies that are known to be effective but haven't found anything that can completely cure it. So far, taking Glucosamine Condroitine with msm was the best. I took them for about 3 months and while I was on them, I hadn't had flare ups for about 3 months. Stopping those pills and the winter season and all, I got the mild flare ups again. I ordered some Colloidal Silver to try out. I heard it's pretty good. Reactive Arthritis is very similar to Rheumatoid Arthritis as you know, so we actually need to go on a strict vegetarian diet with steady herbal remedy treatments. If colloidal silver doesn't work, I will try Oriental Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture. Let's not give it up.
