Guest guest
Hi Everyone I started physical therapy last month to deal with my back pain and the exercises were too hard and now my knee is in pain. So I saw my ortho doc this morning and he says I have " Patellar compression syndrome " , a form of Chrondromalacia patellae " . Basically it is knee cap pain. I now have a new script for the physical therapy which is called " Quad VMO conditioning in extension, straight knee body mechanics teaching " . I have never heard of that. Have any of you had this?? It means I have to keep my knee straight as bending it hurts. And it hurts to drive my car as it is my right knee and it hurts to press on the brake petal and gas petal. As if I did not have enough limitations already. If the exercises help I hope to avoid surgery. Let me know what you all have done with knee pain. What works to help the pain?? What a way to start a new year. God bless Priscilla
