Guest guest
I'm 49 Y/O male that grew up a hard working farm boy and started working part time when I was 14 in a aluminum smelter and went full time when I was 16. Just like a lot of you to the fact I have fibro however I have RA, and 5 Ruptured disks in my back COPD from years of foundry and smelter work. (NON SMOKER) I'm so tired of telling the Dr's that. Anyway I am on 13 different med's and I was told by 4 Dr's to stop working 3 years ago and I did. I Applied for SS and was denied 3 times and have an attorney now. I even have one of the SS Dr's that say not to work and the SS judge said that there Dr was not creditable! The last Judge wanted me to drive a school bus 4 hrs a day for a living! I talked to my Dr's and she said I cant pass the DOT physical requirements. After careful thought I believe it is nothing but a political game. I feel if you happen to have Judges in your area that wants there party in office they deny almost everyone. And if they have the party they want in office then they tend to be more open minded and fair. But I am hanging in there. My attorney says he feels we will win but it might be another year. My retirement is about used up and I don't have a clue what I am going to do to survive. The bills go on as I am sure all of you know. I am greatfull to the state of missouri for the food stamps and Medicaid even tho it is limited to the drugs it covers and the Dr's. But it helps. I guess electric, gas, phone, house and such are not needed to live. It is looking like I am going to find out. Well thanks for letting me vent and if anyone has any ideas please feel free to drop me a line.
