Guest guest
I made a call to the www.FibroIsReal.Com people ((1-866-983-4276) I took the survey to see if I qualified for the clinical trials... She asked me only a few questions and told me I was NOT qualified. At first, when she answered the phone, there was nobody waiting...she had all the words right (she even said our conversation would be recorded for training purposes, etc) The questions were: 1. Do you have pain for at least three months on BOTH sides of the body? 2. Have you been diagnosed with fibro by a doctor? 3. Have you been diagnosed with lupus? 4. Have you been diagnosed with diabetic neuropathy? (My answers were yes, yes, no, yes) I DID NOT qualify, but she wanted permission to keep my answers in the files for further studies. I gave her permission. Then she wanted my name, address, etc. I gave her A name...and my box number. She said I would be receiving a brochure in the mail in a few days that would be in a discreet envelope. (why would they need a discreet mailing. The brochure would tell me more about the organization. IF this is NOT on the 'up and up', I think we should have someone to turn this over to...even the Postal Office itself. The website does seem suspicous....and yet this could be 'real'.... Anyone else look into this? roseanne

Guest guest
Is this the same one that is advertised on TV, Fibrostudy? I filled out the information On the web site and they said that I did not qualify. I know several across the country that tried and no one has qualified. I am registered with a research Dr in Tampa Fl, that is getting ready to start a project on Fibromyalgia. I was called n for another study, but when they saw that I had fibro wanted to save me for that study. The best is to register with a legit research place. Guest guest
Same thing happened to me. I wonder if, when we say we have been diagnosed by a doctor, they don't want to deal with us.
