Hi, .

I actually own both of Andy Cutler's books. He is a PhD chemist who deals with mercury toxicity and how to properly chelate it. He recovered from mercury toxicity himself, so speaks from personal experience. Even if you aren't mercury toxic, both of his books contain a wealth of info related to adrenals, thyroid, food sensitivities, neurotransmitters, etc.

His first book is called Amalgam Illness. His 2nd book is called Hair Test Interpretation: How to Find Hidden Toxicities.

Both can be bought from www.noamalgam.com. They are self published and don't look like much (and neither does his website), but, as they say, "You can't judge a book by its cover!"

For a quick summary about how he uses a hair analysis to find hidden metal toxicities, you can read here:

http://mercuryexposure.org/index.php?article_id=133

If you think you might have toxicity issues, look for the frequent dose chelation group. It is a group geared toward using Andy's protocol (all dental amalgams must be removed first!).

Either way, his Hair Test book discusses what minerals are accurate in the hair, which aren't, how to find possible adrenal/thyroid problems (which would suggest follow-up testing- it isn't a diagnosis in itself), etc.

HTH!
