Guest guest
No, this has not happened to me but I was wondering what they said to you at the hospital the last time this happened. I am trying to remember what the ladies at work say when their kids are sick. I think the temperature where you're supposed to seek medical help is right around what you have... -- Kay > > It has been 21 days now since I got my new episode. It was hard to move in begining. I moved from another state and started a new job. I always wonder if I induce the episodes on me because of overload of stress. I have a question on FEVER....this last week I go in to a shivering chill at 6 pm and then go into a 103 temperature for about 8 hours and then sweat, and in the morning I have normal temperature. Does this happen to anyone else? It is exhausting. I am on 6 days of that. The first time I had an episode it was 5 years ago and went to hospital b/c I thought I was dying. Any help in understanding. I hate being sick >
Guest guest
I frequently had fevers when I was a child around the time I was first diagnosed with JRA (Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis) at the age of 6 (I am both HLA-B27 positive and ANA positive) but I've rarely had any fevers since. I've been told this isn't uncommon with children with JRA - I'm not sure how common it is with people with Reiter/s or other spondyloarthropathies.
