Guest guest
Hi, Enzymes have also been attributed to destroying the outer cell of yeast which can cause stimming and other such things as a " die-off " toxin effect. If your child has had a recent clear urine test then the stimming is probably not related to that. Also, if a child was not purely GFCF before starting the enzymes, there will probably be withdrawals from the lack of peptides, which could have behavior implications. Good luck, Theresa > > I have a new question about enzymes. Did anyone find that > although their lil > > one was communicating more, they were also stimming more when they > started > > enzymes? Guest guest
From: moonbeam@... Date sent: Mon, 13 May 2002 08:22:32 +1000 Subject: Enzymes + Cancer Send reply to: cures for cancer quote: " The polyenzyme preparation Wobenzym (WE) contains pancreatin, papain, bromelain trypsin and chymotrypsin and is used in adjuvant tumor therapy. " Hi, Wobenzyme is patented, but one can easily purchase these individual enzymes from a discount vitamin supply company. One can then add more bromelain from slow speed juiced pineapples, including the skin of the pineapple. And extra papain from Papaya (Paw Paw). Pancreatin may be called Pancreatic Enzyme in a vitamin catalogue also called digestive enzymes. Enzymes are used in cancer therapy to remove the protein coating that hides the tumor from our immune system, the type of enzyme used to disolve this protein based tumor shield is called a proteolytic enzyme. Bromelain, papain, pancreatic enzymes, chrypsin, chymotrypsin and patented Wobenzyme are typical enzymes used for this purpose. These enzymes also help the immune system to destroy the cancer by stimulating killing ability (cytotoxicity) of immune cells against tumor cells (Ref 5). It is also shown that the cancer killing ability of our immune cells was increased from 7% to 54% by bromelain from home made pineapple juice. Enzymes are cheap, very effective and clinically proven adjuvant therapy, to consider adding to your total therapy plan. Many doctors wrongly believe that Bromelain is not orally absorbed, they are quite mistaken, as this article clearly demonstrates. So if you are using B17 against cancer, consider adding enzymes to your plan. Reference 1. Oncol Rep 1999 Nov;6(6):1191-1199 Effects of oral bromelain administration on the impaired immunocytotoxicity of mononuclear cells from mammary tumor patients. Eckert K, Grabowska E, Stange R, Schneider U, Eschmann K, Maurer HR. The protease bromelain from pineapple was suggested for adjuvant therapy of malignant diseases. We studied immunological effects of an orally applied bromelain drug on 16 breast cancer patients in comparison with healthy donors. Bromelain was applied for 10 days. Patients leukocytes expressed lower bMAK-, MAK-, NK- and LAK-cell activities, compared with those from healthy donors. Orally applied bromelain increased the reduced bMAK- and MAK- cell activity of patients monocytes about 2-fold. When the patients were classified on the basis of bromelain effects on the monocytic cytotoxicity into bromelain responders and nonresponders, about 40% of the patients responded to bromelain with an increase of cytotoxicity from 7.8% to 54% (bMAK-cell activity) and from 16% to 47% (MAK-cell activity). These data suggest, that orally applied bromelain stimulates the deficient monocytic cytotoxicity of mammary tumor patients, which may partially explain its proposed antitumor activity. Long-term rectal administration of enzyme mixture containing papain, trypsin and chymotrypsin in the same ratio as the preparation Wobe-Mugos E (Mucos Pharma, Germany) was evaluated for their antitumor effects in C57Bl6 inbred mice inoculated with Bl6 melanoma cells. 30% of animals in the test group (3 pcs) have been cured of cancer. In the rest of animals (70%) the survival time was prolonged by 58.3% compared to the control group (from average survival time of 24 days in control group to 38 days in the test group). Based on histological and immunohistochemical evaluation a faster process of metastasizing was found in control group than in the group treated with the polyenzyme preparation. Zavadova E, Desser L, Mohr T. Polymorphonuclear neutrophils (PMN) can be primed for enhanced release of reactive oxygen species (ROS) by exposure to cytokines and biological response modifiers. ROS are considered to possess tumoricidal activity. The polyenzyme preparation Wobenzym (WE) contains pancreatin, papain, bromelain trypsin and chymotrypsin and is used in adjuvant tumor therapy. Depending on dose WE stimulates the cytotoxic capacity of PMN (immune cells) against tumor cells. Exposure of PMN to Wobenzym caused a time-dependent significant (p < 0.02) increase in release of ROS. Similarly, oral administration of Wobenzym to healthy volunteers (n = 28) resulted in significant increases (p < 0.01) in ROS production, depending on dose (peak with 20 tablets) and time (peak 4 hours after Wobenzym administration). In contrast, ROS production was not elevated in the PMN of healthy volunteers receiving placebo (n = 8) or no treatment (n = 16). These findings point to an immunomodulatory capacity of WE in adjuvant tumor therapy. Clinical trial Controlled clinical trial PMID: 7663574 [PubMed - indexed for MEDLINE] Wobenzyme pills. Guest guest
Hiya Liz, Excellent tip on Digestive Enzymes & Probiotics! I just did my bloodwork again the end of may and the results were FANTASTIC! They've been good the past 5 years on the ALT TX I follow - however the past 8 months I really concentrated on supporting better/quicker Digestion and started taking probiotics everyday. And a gentle fiber cleanse at bedtime along with some zinc. And the results I had were even more energy and mental focus & my skin looks great and on paper the bloodwork results were awesome too! So thanks for the post! Add some Omega Three Fatty Acids too = Flax Seed Oil & meal, or Fish Oil Capsules. Use Olive Oil , Primrose oil, and DHA (I.Q.) great brain food and awesome as anti-infammitorys. I've recently read that adding Liquid Flax Seed oil into yogurt creates and even stronger probiotic! So I'm stiring the oil into my Organic Goat Milk Yogurt before adding to my smoothie recipe. (If anyone whats my smoothie recipe email me!) Enjoy your weekend everyone! No special enzymes. Sounds like quackery to me. Our surgeon is seeing ability to maintain adequate B12 levels with supplementation, overcoming loss of intrinsic factor from the surgery--maybe that is what they are referring to as "special enzymes". Guest guest
, Our daughter also could not tolerate any enzymes we tried - nothing plant based has worked for her. Guest guest
Thanks ,     Someone else just mentioned that to me. Could you tell me how it tastes and is it easy to hide in juice or something? I’ve tried two prescriptions Creon and Viocase along with the Houstons. Creon had to be hidden in food and was bead-like in texture and my son refused every food I gave them in. The Viocase was the most disgusting thing I have ever tasted and he hated it. I have to be very careful and honestly I’m tired of spending money on things that sit in my cupboard unused.  Thank you,   From: mb12 valtrex [mailto:mb12 valtrex ] On Behalf Of mbrookh Sent: Tuesday, August 22, 2006 8:26 PM mb12 valtrex Subject: Re: enzymes , Our daughter also could not tolerate any enzymes we tried - nothing plant based has worked for her.
