Hi Tami, I am still a moderator (officially) but have not really been

that active lately. But I took a look at the polls section for you

and it does seem you can only ask one question. I seem to recall you

could ask more than one but maybe they changed it. I don't know ...

I would try creating it with one question and see how it goes, maybe

it gives you more questions after the first? I'm sorry I can't be of

more help.

I'm also sorry about your headaches. :( I don't usually get

headaches with the Samters but when I do get them they are awful so I

can relate.

Hugs

questions. Am I just not reading it right?

it would probably be helpful for others who's docs won't desense

them.

> I've been dealing with these damn headaches for 9 years and 11

months now, and quite frankly, I'm sick sick sick of them. I've got a

goal of being pain free (at least a few days a week) by March.

This is from 's help:

1. Click on Create New Poll.

2. Type in your poll question. Polls are restricted to one question

at a time, with up to 25 possible choices for answers.

3. Choose whether you want to allow single answers or multiple

answers to a question.

4. Enter the possible answers to the question.

5. Click on the Save Changes button and an email message announcing

your poll will be distributed to your group.

As you can see, only 1 question is allowed.

Hello Dominie and other fibro buddies!

I was wondering, Dominie, if you could figure out how the POLLS

works within our Dominie's Support Group. I have been to a

few other different groups and they have this availability. It is

really great! Especially since we are all trying to get information

from one another. For instance the Lyrica discussion, child abuse,

symptoms of fibro, medications taken, age of onset, occupations,

etc...

The Poll generates itself, so I believe all you need to do is set it

as one of your functions for our group. Just check it out. It

really would be beneficial for us! And, then when the poll is

written, it generates just one e-mail that states their is a NEW

poll to be taken. Then, you go into the Poll listing and take

whatever poll you want. The cool thing is that it won't let people

take it over and over again, so the information is quite valid and

vital to those of us in need of answers to questions.

When you did your occupations poll, this would have been so easy for

you and saved you valuable Fibro time!

Good luck! Let me know if you have any success with this. You may

have used it in the past, I'm not sure...just a newbie to the group

thing.

Wow. I just checked out the polls feature. That's cool! Didn't

know it was on there. I am super busy these days - overwhelmed

actually. If you want to suggest some poll questions, I'll try to

get another one going. Some questions could be:

1. age of fibro onset

2. why you think you got fibro (just a sentence or two)

Actually Dominie you don't even need to do the polls. Just make it

available to us. Then we can create our own. It is so easy! I did

it a few times in another group. So, just make it available, and if

you want to do a poll yourself you can. Just let it flow and let

the users create the polls.

Good luck! Just let us know when it is available. It will give

everyone the directions to make a poll - and believe me...even with

fibro fog we can do it!
