What has helped me with cold sores

Hi all! I usually have such bad luck with meds, but I finally had a

breakthrough! I know different things work for different folks, but I

wanted to share in case this might help you.

A few months ago I went in for a mammogram because of some pain and a

lump. Turns out I had cysts - thank the Lord it was nothing serious.

I was worried because my mother is a breast cancer survivor. Well,

one of the things my radiologist told me to do was to take a Vitamin E

supplement. Of course, like all of us fibromites do, I immediately

began researching Vitamin E online before buying it. I read that it

is supposedly good for your immune system. I figured, it couldn't

hurt any, since my immune system is pretty much non-existent. Maybe

it would help that, too.

About a month prior, during one of my regular doctor visits, I had

asked my doc why I was getting so many mouth sores. I have been

getting them at least 2 or 3 times a month for the past year. He said

it was because of my low immune system, and that there was really

nothing that could be done for it besides treating with a topical

analgesic.

To make a long story short (haha - I know those are few and far

between around here) ever since I have been taking the Vitamin E to

help with my cysts, I have not had one single mouth sore! I have been

pain free in my mouth for 2 months now! This is the first

med/supplement/vitamin that I can say without a doubt is an absolute

God-send for me. If you have mouth sores (I know a lot of us do) I

would highly recommend adding Vitamin E to your daily regimen. It may

work for you, too.
