Guest guest
I've been a vegetarian for 15 years and during those years I've encountered any number of people who believe that it is their "right" to tell me that I'm eating badly or even stupidly. And, you know, I still see many of those people, and compared to them, I haven't aged a day! (Note: This is not to say that a nonvegetarian diet is aging...I eat a very, very healthy vegetarian diet...there are also equally healthy nonvegetarian diets.) So, first point: You're in this for the long haul. Those people who try to "teach" you that their way is the better way to eat...well, time will definitely tell, in my experience. Second, my standard reply to questions/criticisms about my eating: Thank you for your concern. I feel great and I enjoy my food. Third, I don't try to educate anyone about health, vegetarianism or CRONing. I've found that doing so, really turns the conversation into a debate about who is smarter or more "virtuous".
