Guest guest
FROM MY WORK AND BEING AROUND OTHERS IN CHRONIC PAIN, I HAVE FOUND THAT OUR CHEMICAL MAKE UP DOESN'T HAVE THE ADDICTIVE BEHAVIOR AS SOMEONE WITH ACUTE PAIN. NOT TO SAY THAT THERE CAN'T BE SOMEONE BECOMING ADDICTED AS THEY MIGHT HAVE AN ADDICTIVE PERSONALITY. WE JUST RESPOND DIFFERENTLY TO MEDS IN COMPARISON TO THOSE THAT ARE "NORMS". THE GREAT THING THOUGH WE CAN SEE A FULL SPECTERUM IN THIS GROUP FROM MEDS TO MEDIATION TO NATURAL REMEDIES.Darlene <tdyer1@...> wrote: Not So Painful Truth About Non-Chronic AddictionUniversity of Wisconsin researchers found that less than 4 percent of people who use opiates to control chronic pain became addicted.
