Guest guest
Hi ,Noting wrong with your machine. the black off the silver is oxide and is normal, just discard it as it will sink to the bottom of your container.Kind regards,Rob.From: momlita55 <momlita55@...>Subject: what the differents between colloidal silver and Ionic Silver Received: Thursday, 10 March, 2011, 8:08 AM I have seem this names colloidal and ionic. I have made homemade colloidal silver and I found some particles like a black spot of silver in my glass. I wonder if the machine isn't working correctly?? Please help with any info
Guest guest
, the ions and colloidal particles can " floculate " or gather if that's the correct term electriclaly as it is physically. These larger specks can be seen as increased tyndall effect, or as grey or golden colloidal silver, or even yes, they can get large enough to settle out too. Particles of silver oxides etc are also stuck loosely to the electrode and they can be dislodged. all good, Duncan > > I have seem this names colloidal and ionic. > I have made homemade colloidal silver and I found some particles like a black spot of silver in my glass. > > I wonder if the machine isn't working correctly?? > Please help with any info > > >
Guest guest
If I may, " Colloidal and Ionic " When making it in the home, *immediately* after cessation of the brewing process the solution will be at it's highest content of Ag+ ions {positively electrically charged silver ions} the smallest matter can be reduced to before that 'matter' loses it's identity, in this case...silver - A predominantly 'ionic' solution. For every hour that passes after production some of those Ag+ ions will be lost to atomic ion clusters {commonly referred to as particles} as a result of some of those ions colliding with each other forming 'particles' until the solution has reached a point of stability - A more 'colloidal' solution. In effect, you have a choice of ingesting/applying *two* types of solution/product when making it in the home. " Black Spot " If that " black spot " is on the bottom of the glass it will be a result of the electrodes being too close to the bottom of the glass during the production process. As silver migrates from the anode to the cathode it forms an arc between the 'bottoms' of those trodes and because that arc is broken by the glass bottom the silver accumulates leaving that black spot. If you can't get those trodes further off the bottom of the glass, stirring while in production will/should reduce/eliminate that black spot. Reversing polarity will probly just result in that black spot appearing underneath the 'other' trode instead. This is a natural occurrance so don't worry, your machine is working fine. You just need to find a way of eliminating that black spot. See if you can get someone to make a magnetic stirrer for you from ideas available in the public domain, I've made several and would not be without one. Hope these simple explanations help some. You need to wipe the wires every couple of hours with a clean paper towel to prevent it from going into the water. The best way to make silver water is to use 3-5 9 volt batteries the way Dr bob Beck did before Sota came up with a silver water maker. Guest guest
some stuff I have learned about cs: 1. my machine, the silvergen sg6 makes it very fine without the clumping. it cost me about 200 dollars but has lasted 10 years and still going strong. the particle size is very fine. 2. using a nebulizer to inhale the cs (not a room humidifier, the droplets are too large to reach the lungs), might work for respiratory infections. 3. cs ions have short life in the blood, only about 8 seconds. the ions kill viruses. blood tends to disable the cs for virus but it may still work ok for bacteria. It seems to work fine for colds since the cs can stay active in mucous membranes, where it loses its " hit " in bloodstream, so may not work for other things in the body. 4. the studies of cs killing microbes are done in water, where the cs can stay active. In blood and tissue this may not hold up, since the cs gets changed rapidly. otherwise it would be a super drug for internal infections of many kinds. as it is, it appears to help most with bacterial infections. drinking it combines it with stomach acid, hcl, which forms agcl or silver chloride, and this reduces some of the effects. not all of it is lost, however. 5. I take it internally for any suspected food poisoning, and it seems to work wonders for that. And used it on colds where it also helps a lot. I have yet to use my nebulizer, but have high hopes for it.
