Guest guest
DG, I experienced the same symptoms in 2001, my primary and rehab Dr told me it was just the Fibro. I went to the VA system as I lost my insurance. The rhuemy there told me I defianately had FMS and spinal stenosis but something else was going on. He ran test and did an exam, and I had a condition called Polymyalgia Rhuematica, it has a lot of the symptoms like fibro, but the pain is localized across the shoulders or hip girdle or both. I would sometimes take 3 attempts to get on my feet in the mornings and it would take a couple hours to get over the stiffness. Treatment consist of steroids or methotrexate or both. Test to run are c reactive protein and sedimentation rate, these are both inflammatory markers. I am treated with the steroids, as I don't like methotrexate, its side effects are worse than the steroids. Sandie -- Inward bodily trembling, shaky, jerky feelings Hello Group, I'm new to the Group and would like feedback from any of you who experience symptoms such as trembling legs, heart racing, actually shakes inward and often it feels as if I'll just shake from this body. It doesn't have to be in a stressful situation, I often get up in the mornings and my legs seem so weak and trembles I think I can't get to the kitchen. I've been diagnosed with CFS/Fibro since 1992 and for the past three years I've noticed these symptoms to be more often. And, most of the times I really don't feel I'm in a major flare. Discussed with my General Reactionary last week and he said, "the symptoms just go along with the illness". I take 2 Choline tablets which seem to tone things down but today, nothing is helping. I'd like to add I've collected a library of every book written regarding CFS/Fibro, went to the Atlanta Fibro/Fatigue Clinic for about 5 months, self help approaches, tried every thing out there and haven't had any success. I've also gone through months of I.V. therapy at The Alternative Medicine Clinic. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Regards, DG Wondering what's for Dinner Tonight? Guest guest
HI DG, Let me be the first to welcome you to the group. I experience some of the symptoms you listed occasionally so I guess I am not much help there. I see from your post that you have tried many different approaches you say havent had much success. I always wondered about the Fibro Fatigue clinics. i heard one person say they came away from there with lots of meds.I personally (and this is what works for me) dont use meds. I believe that most of my fibro issues are due to vitamin deficiencies and food sensitivities and allergies and I am in the process of correcting those issues. I do have more energy and am sleeping better. please keep us posted. > > Hello Group, > I'm new to the Group and would like feedback from any of you who experience > symptoms such as trembling legs, heart racing, actually shakes inward and > often it feels as if I'll just shake from this body. Guest guest
I had issues similiar to this due to a vitamin b12 defiency rather then fibro.. thyroid issues can also cause similiar problems...shakes can be fibro thing.. heart racing would worry me personally, perhaps try to monitor the heart and get an actually pulse to discuss the severity of the problem with a doc (along with dairy of what when its occuring and other symptoms)?
