Guest guest
Peggy, Your not alone when it comes the medical community making threats. You should never have to try to convince any physician about your opinions and or beliefs. The choice is yours. The reason I decided to reply is because lately I hear all too often how people say " the cases of adverse reactions to vaccines is very rare, and even more rare when someone is brain damaged or dies because of a vaccine " .....not true! I never thought I would have lost my daughter to a vaccine, and I did 7 years ago. That is something I can never take back and never change. Anyhow, I don't want to go into too much detail, but if your interested in hearing more, e-mail me privately. It isn't that I don't want to share, I honestly don't want to type up a really long e-mail tonight. I was busy with my son at the dentist today. Anyhow, best of luck to you! Guest guest
Peggy, I am in Jax Fl and just recently enrolled my 5 yr old in Kindergarten without getting the " required " boosters. The Florida statute is very simple, they don't require the religious exemption to state what religion you belong, just that immunization is against your religious beliefs. Let me know if you need the URL for the state laws. As far as a pediatrician who won't question your decisions for your child, you can check w/your local health food store or chiropracters for suggestions for another ped. >My name is Peggy. Guest guest
The onlytime my older daughter gets sick is when she swims frequently and gets ear infections. I attribute her hearty fortitude to the fact that I breastfed her for so long. My four year old however, I was only able to nurse for four months. She was always sick with what the pedi said was colds. It turned out to be allergies to our bird. Shes eems to be very susceptible to colds and such and even had pneumonia once. My husband, when he was a child, also had a lot of major respiratory illness for the first 10 years of his life. We both just figure that Maya is taking after him. new here>Date: Wed, 11 Oct 2000 15:45:26 -0400>>Hello,>>I have actually been on the list for about a week but my computer died just >after I joined so I haven't introduced myself.>>My name is Peggy. Guest guest
Is it possible that Samter's could cause this degree of problems? Welcome Dawn! A resounding yes to your question. I have had samters since I was 23...now 46...and it has been a major focus in my life all these years. Finding answers, doctors, treatments, quality of life, takes so much time and energy it just wears you out. I would first find a great ENT and get a proper diagnosis...I didn't read if you had, sorry if I missed it. Aspirin desensitization works for some and others are like me, not allowed to go through it as I have anaphylaxis from aspirin and nsaid's. I am trying diet to control the disease as I am pretty much maxed out on meds. Been on/off prednisone for 23 years now and will be taking a daily low dose indefinately or until a miracle occurs. This site has so much info, just keep reading and asking questions and sharing! Trudy.

Guest guest
I am so sorry to hear what you have been through. Of all the rotten luck. As it happens, I had just read a few weeks ago that the brown recluse is one of two or three poisonous spiders in the U.S. Just reading about it and seeing the pictures gave me the creeps. Guest guest
Sally, Thanks for the welcome. I'm sure I will have lots of questions, I'm very glad to know I'm not alone in this and that there will be people out there to help me along. I have read Eat Right 4 your blood Type. I will be borrowing Cook Right for you blood type from a friend this weekend and then I'll read that one. Joan > > Joan, > We are happy to have you with us. Don't hesitate to ask questions when they come up. Most of us have been here a while, and usually one or more of us will have an answer for you. Which book have you read or are in the process of reading? So glad tohear you are already getting results. > Sally > New here > > > Hi everbody, > I'm new to the group.
