Hello Ayasdisgi,

Looks like Russ already gave you Link (options), for 2.5 mH coils, but

since I'm here...let me mention http://www.PartsExpress.com is located

in Ohio, USA...not shipping from Canada! Excelent service (World Wide)

and never a glitch, or out-of-stock, etc.. The 300 watt p/n 266-836 at

$14.27 ea is almost perfect match for (Becks) Vivitar-2600 conversion.

If you were looking for 800 watt inductor (for higher-power/DIY unit),

then I would recomend going with $33.93 Perfect-Coil p/n 266-380, as a

better inductor (0.36 ohm coil resistance) for High-Power " SCR/TRIAC " ?

Regardless which coil you pick...the rest is EASY, just Snip & Solder!

(Well OK, we need some 12ga. (600 volt rated) Cord & Package for Coil)

If you shop www.HomeDepot.com or other Hardware Store...ask for a few

feet of good (heavy-duty/out-door/600-volt insulated) Extension Cord?

Slight extra cost here...will provide Mechanical-Durability & Safety!

Even though, it's ~350 volts max...I would use GE, or DOW Silicon RTV

Rubber in a Tube (Aquarium-Seal/Bathtub-Caulk), etc. Great insulation

and RTV (Silicon) Rubber makes solid mechanical bonding to Cord/Pkg.!

Also take care to get good Electrical & Mechanical Solder connection!

(Sure you already realized it, but just inCase...COIL, needs Plastic)

***WARNING/HIGH-VOLTAGE*** WORKING IN-SIDE A " FLASH-UNIT " IS DEADLY!!!

(BE SURE TO REMOVE BATTERIES/(POWER-UNIT) THEN SAFELY SHORT-CAPACITOR)

Live-Safe!

Dok Dallas
