Guest guest
Hi everyone, I have been taking Lyrica for about a month now.50mg. twice a day.I have been having blurred vision and today it was so bad that I was afraid to take a short walk outside. We had record breaking warm temps.here in Ohio and I was going to venture out for a bit.Is this blurred vision from the Lyrica or just a new symptom of fibro starting to rear it's ugly head?It seemed worse in my left eye, but my fibro symptoms are always worse on the left side. It's very frustrating to know if your problems are from a medication or the fibro itself. I feel very isolated today, more than usual and just a fragile shell of my former self.Any comments on the blurred vision would be appreciated. Guest guest
I have been having similar vision problems for over a year now. I was afraid I was going blind. The doctor can't seem to figure out what is causing it, and kind of acts like I am nuts. I had contact implants several years ago, and noticed his notes said possible lens slippage. He couldn't quit figure this as it is in both eyes periodically. He did try cutting away some membranes that may have grown back from my cataracts, but that did not help at all. I am supposed to go back when the condition is severe so they can recheck it. I noticed I get semi double vision vertically. Otherwise, written lines appear half again below the first. I can't really trace it back to any of my meds. Reading glasses helps some but, since one of my eyes is set for distance and the other close, then it onl helps some. It does not help for the double vision at all. I have to pump up the font size on the puter in order to see without squinting a lot. It is only this way for some days, then goes away. I have been diagnosed with macular degeneration, but doctor says that it has not gotten any worse. Anyone else have this problem? (Kwandrie) > > Though I haven't really had side effects from Lyrica, I have had moments of strange vision. It was more like I couldn't focus, and helped if I closed 1 eye. It eventually went away, but I thought it was rather " goofy " . Definitely see an eye doctor if it doesn't get better. They say side effects will decrease in those that have them the longer they're on Lyrica. > Nadine >
