Guest guest
Cute. And their pollutants wash off into the ocean instead of into rivers that feed downstream populations. They also don't have the farm wastes in their water. And other seaside locations like coastal Spain, Eskimo country, Japan, etc. A few years back I stopped to pee in a wayside potty in Colorado and noted a drainage ditch from the road into the lake running within 10 feet of the outdoor style potty. Assuming our bodies do a good job of excreting pollutants, a mass of humans can pollute a river. I can also tell you for absolute that if you pen a pig around a tree, that tree will die. It's not hard to imagine a common pollutant with a low level like mercury, shortening lives. Indeed, one of them even lent its name to a famous 'category' of fish. I doubt this is entirely a coincidence.A lack of industrial pollution probably adds three or four years to their lifespan also.Rodney.
