It always takes me longer to get over anything and I also get sicker than the 'normal' person when I do catch a cold or the flu, etc.

I get my flu shots and that helps....and I take Juice Plus and that keeps me from getting colds. I have not had a cold since I started on them. And my grand kids are always ALWAYS sick.

Our immune system is wreaking havoc....of course we are going to be worse.....in another forum, it was a given that we were more difficult patients because of the fms. There is a lot of information out there....a WEALTH of it....I u se to have a file that took up a file box...all on my fms and cfs and then gradually more illlnesses that I contracted once I got fms.

When I was first sick (1995) I had received my permanent placard for handicaopped; when I started speaking to a woman in line, she was in a wheelchair and when she found out I was there for fms, she told me she too has had it for all those years...she then showed me her arms by pulling up her sleeve and showed me what I had to look forward to - and I now have it. But I also now know it is from myofacial disease which really is like having tender points in a blanket. My body is a blanket of tender points....and those knots are horrible to touch. Have any of you gotten to this point? I can't even bathe to touch myself...or when I put on my creams and lotions...it is painful! When my cat scrapes my legs the way they do, it is like I am on fire!

Anyone?
