Guest guest
There is a front-page story today in the Washington Post about Japan's fit seniors. 100-year old Keizo Miura keeps an active life style which includes climbing mountains, world travel, etc., and he eats seaweed and eggs for breakfast. The story has a table from the World Health report (2003) showing Japan as the leader in average life expectancy [81.9 years] (US is 20th at 77.3 years) . 35% of Japanese centenarians live independently, compared to only 13% of US centenarians.
