I just spent 24 hours in the hospital. My potassium was too low. Causing problems with the other parts of my body. My doc said I really had to intake more potassium. Which means that I have to have some of the acid stuff too. But then again my PH level was low also. So again like Heidi said what works for some does not work for the others. But before you cut way down on your acid foods besure to check with your doctor. Having too low potassium is a sure way to set yourself up for a heart attack. I was just lucky that I went to the E/R feeling bad and it was different from the other feelings. Or aches and pains. So some times its better to not ignore something different with your body. A few hours in a hospital bed is sure worth it. Makes a difference than a life time of not being here any longer. .Have a great day! __________________________________________________
