Dom and Hiedi,Oh how wonderful!!!!!It is amazing how God brings people together. Your paths crossed early in life only to become dear friends and partners in caring for others later. I think there was a plan. It is true we are all connected in some way. From the pictures it looked like a wonderful day. So nice to see your faces too.Your mother Dom looks quite lovely and happy. She must be so proud for what you do for all of us.Thank you so much for sharing with all of us!Sue

How wonderful for you all and what a special time. We all post and communicate and help each other but will probably never meet, so you all are very fortunate that you've been able to have this special time together. I would absolutely love to have a time where we can meet...oh how special that would be!

Dom, I have to say you mother is something else for 87 yrs old. God Bless her. Hugs to you all. H.

Heidi and I met for the first time TODAY! Heidi and her dear husbandStanley visited our church, Madeira Baptist, in Middleburg, Floridathis morning! There's more to the story of me and Heidi later in thisemail. Click on PHOTOS on the left side of the message board at http://health. groups.. com/group/ dominieLook for the ALBUM called "Dominie & Donnie, Heidi & Stanley." Thefirst 3 pictures were taken in the lobby. (The short older lady in themiddle is my amazing mom, who is 87 years young and runs circlesaround me - she drove 51 miles to be in church with us today!) The4th photo is of Heidi, me and our husbands in front of Sweet TomatoesRestaurant where we ate after church. Now for a little history....Heidi and I were actually members of thesame church in Neptune Beach, Florida in the early 1970's

(!), but wedidn't know each other back then. The same dear pastor performed bothof our weddings (hers to Stanley and mine to my first husband). Also,my mother knew Stanley's parents! Strange how life turns out - wejust now met 34 years later!Heidi, I appreciate all the moderating work you do for our messageboard, your timely articles, sweet and kind manner with everyone, wisdom and unselfish service. We will certainly be praying for yoursurgery on Nov. 20 for the NF problem. And thank you so much for theslippers! (Heidi knitted slippers for me, Donnie and my mom!)Dom

The pictures are great, I enjoyed seeing them. How wonderful that you both could meet. I guess you must live fairly close to one another...?

We discovered that we live about 30 miles away from each other.

Donnie and I live in Green Cove Springs and Heidi and Stanley live

near Baldwin. They drove 22 miles to come to Madeira yesterday! - Dom

I'm sitting here at the Physiatrists office and have at least an hour wait so I thought I'd reply Dom to how wonderful your meeting each other was. I also have to tell u I lived right near you in 06/07. I lived right across the bridge at the river. I went to the Post Ofc right there and the festivals right there. I absolutely loved Green Cove and took drives everywhere including Middleburg...lots of bldg going on there. Wish I was still there, what a lovely town. What a small world! Yes, Green Cove Springs is a charming town! We

live about 12 miles north of GCS and 6 miles from Middleburg. It's a

wonderful place to live. Where did you move away to? - Dom

I have lived in S FL (Broward Cty) all my life and was born here. As u can imagine I've seen many many negative changes and wanted and needed a change. I love small towns and country life so I picked upb my kids put my house up for sale and moved. Unfortunately it was the same time the housing market was turning towards the bad and I couldn't sell my house. My house was all I had and as a single parent I couldn't afford to just give it away so we had to unfortunately come back. I trully wish I was still there. There is more to it but very long but that's it in a nutshell.
