Guest guest
We have had some discussion about Vitamin D.    No doctor has ever mentioned Vitamin D nor the alternative medicine person I have begun seeing.   But being in Wisconsin, I thought taking 2000 IU a day would be very helpful.   So a few weeks ago,  I added it to my daily supplements I take.   Here is an article that was emailed to me today from womentowomen.com about Vitamin D. Rather long but interesting. http://www.womentowomen.com/nutritionandweightloss/vitamind.aspx? Guest guest
From what I have read there is some controversy about vitamin D, new australian research suggests that more is not necesarily better, in fact in may be that the amount of vitamin D in your system is actually part of your immune system working and fighting off intrudors. I cant find the link to that artcile at the moment, but it was on science daily in august or september I believe. Also, according to the fibro and fatigue center drs, an amount of 30 vitamin D is considered great.. far lower than the range for conventional drs. Guest guest
….and you have NO idea of what is happening at TPA-UK in the background. Hope to have more to titillate your curiosity later, though not sure whether this will be in the next 24 hours, next week, next month, or even next year - though I think we should have something to report shortly - and yes, it is to do with Vitamin D. Certainly, it IS Vitamin D day today. Luv - Sheila Must be Vitamin D Day! The Times reports it may prevent MS. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/life_and_style/health/article5663483.e ce
