Guest guest
Exercise and HDL. Aerobic exercise has been shown time and again to have little to no effect on HDL. Anerobic has been shown to have the positive effect some are looking for. Don White Seguin, Tx
Guest guest
Don't forget alcohol too.... (although some correctly point out that's a different variety of HDL than the one exercise increases). JR PS: While I said exercise increases HDL and not specifically " aerobic " , I can see how some would draw that inference from the thread so mea culpa. For the record I advocate a mix of aerobic, resistance, stretching, and sport (preferably team sport with situational strategy involved). IMO HDL is pretty low on the list for reasons to exercise, just some zero cal gravy. -----Original Message----- From: Don White [mailto:white69@...] Sent: Wednesday, October 20, 2004 3:41 PM Subject: Re: [ ] Digest Number 1488 - HDL levels Exercise and HDL.
