Guest guest
Hadn't heard of that movie, but when I was staff Development Co ordinator at a long term care facility, I had a tape that I used during orientation of new employees, where a nurse, would talk extremely loudly to stroke patients and talk about them in front of other staff etc. This nurse had a stroke and was put in the same situation. It was a wake up and smell the coffee, tape for new staff members, no matter what department they were in. Sandie -- Re: Malingerers?? Just want to mention that if anyone here has been blown away by a "toxic" doctor, you are welcome to visit my good doctors/bad doctors page for emotional support. Some doctors say the most ghastly things to their patients - and others don't like to be questioned at all, even when they may possibly be wrong! Fortunately, many docs are wonderful, listening to their patients and working with them to find solutions to health problems. I am very fortunate to have a great doctor (internal medicine) who manages my meds for me. He is respectful and always listens to what I have to say. However, I've had the other kind where you want to throw a brick through the window, you leave there soooo mad!!!! (BTW, does anyone know the name of the movie where a doctor becomes a hospital patient and learns what it's like from the patient's point of view? I heard about it maybe 20 years ago. - Dom > > Thanks, Dom.? The more I thought about this, the angrier I got.? I don't even think this guy knows what Munchausen's is.? Perhaps he needs to do a little research.? ------------------------------------
