Guest guest
G'day , Just before writing this I Googled things like, flaxseed bad with medication and flaxseed reacts with medication. I did the same with blackcurrants, and cinnamon. You can Google other phrases to find articles, and learn more about the reactions of ingredients with any meds you're taking. It never occurred to me years ago to check out any warnings about the ingredients when I started eating this mixture. I don't think the book had any warnings, either. I could be wrong! But then the only medication I was taking was Normoyson, Panadol's, and Aspirin. You'll find articles that specifically warn about flaxseed, and meds. You'll need to read these. Because they definately warn you to talk with your doctor before taking flaxseed. Something about not eating it within 1 - 2 hours of taking meds. Also, info. about allergic reactions etc. There are some great articles about flaxseed oil, though. And the anti-inflammatory effects of the oil. Makes sense to me. Because eating this stuff takes away what I call 'fire in my system.' You mentioned that you've written down the Blackcurrant Mixture. And asked me for info. on the ingredients. I'm not sure what info. you mean. I think I've managed to confuse you, somehow. When I said research the ingredients for yourself...I meant find out if any of the ingredients can have a bad reaction with your meds. I think you, and I should start a comedy duo. We could call ourselves, The Confucius Girl's. LOL 'Cause I had to stop and think, what did mean. Then I read what I'd written to you, and thought, 'what on earth did I mean'. If your doctor gives you the okay to eat this recipe then it's just a matter of finding the best ingredients. You said something about powder. Do you mean blackcurrant powder? We can get into the ingredients when you've done your research. And your doctor says it's safe. There are specific warnings about the flaxseed!!! Hope this helps Aussie hugs Carlene P.S. Did you see October 20 newsletter that lists all the ingredients? Maybe you didn't, and that's how our wires have got crossed! Thanks Carlene, believe me like most of us we forgive and forget, ha ha, when someones doesn't give us all the info we need. I wrote down the blackcurrant mixture, but what's in it so I know what I'm looking for. Any ingredients for this blackcurrant recipe would be appreciated. Hugs to you H.
