Guest guest
Has anyone been following research on curcumin (a major component of turmeric) as a chemopreventive and anticancer agent? There're quite a few abstracts on curcumin/turmeric on medline. Apparently, certain cancers such as prostate cancer have a comparatively low incidence in curry-consuming nations such as India. I've been sprinkling a little turmeric in V8 juice and tomato juice. With a few drops of tabasco or other hot sauce, it's actually quite good. --Thin Man Constitutive activation of transcription factor AP-1 in cervical cancer and suppression of human papillomavirus (HPV) transcription and AP-1 activity in HeLa cells by curcumin.
