I just read that DMG can help some kids sleep better. It's not a medicine, it's a supplement. I use the one made by Kirkmans. It doesn't work with all ASD kids, but it might help. Guest guest
Kathleen, That is what has made my nights bearable! My doctor just increased it to 100 mg and I am sleeping almost a normal night for the first time in years! Good luck to you! My doctor says we cannot fight the pain without sleep at night. Carole M. Guest guest
Oh, Ceryl, has that given you a complex?! I was kidding with my doctor when he raised the dose, asking him if he thought I was psychotic. I have had some awful reactions, and one of the worst meds for me was Ambien! So, Seroquel is a gift from the gods! Carole M.
Guest guest
I am currently using a combo of drugs for sleep, and so far it is working quite well. Usually, though, we have to keep changing from time to time. I take Carisoprodol, l tab, 1 zanaflex, 3 klonopin 05 mg each, 1 5HTP At one point I have used Ambien (not CR) and sleep walked, twice, so that was the end of that. I think I may have written about this before, so forgive my fibrofog, if so. I am in lots of pain, however, since being in NY for 5 days, and I can't seem to find a good pain relief. am waiting to see about several of the new studies that are supposed to happen soon. Lyrica and Cymbalta were terrible for me. My doc previously was Dr. Teitelbaum, he has now left to establish clinics around country and of course lectures, etc. His close friend is Dr. Weiss, both internal medicine specializing in FMS and CFS . Dr. Weiss is in Atlanta as was Dr. T. One visit, then all the help you need by e-mail, phone. His address is
