There have been studies of EOD (every other day) feeding vs. steady CR with

interesting results. Since most studies have been done on rodents the

applicability to humans may be non-linear.

Subject: [ ] fasting vs cron ?

i'm new to cron (day 4), but from what i have read it sounds like it has

some

promise

my question to all is:

has there been any study made on fasting vs cron ?

by fasting i mean eating once a day (one large dinner) after about 20hrs of

fasting

i ask this because after reading 'the warrior diet' and trying it out, i

find

it easier to eat one large meal at the end of the day vs eating 3 or more

small

meals through out the day

thanks

Also: check the archives for many interesting past discussions about fasting

and non-fasting. We also have a file/link about Lee Shurie's interesting

experience with eod eating and the remarkable path he made back from

diabetes IIRC.

However, the best CRON plan is the one we can stick to. We all start out

with big plans but it' difficult to stick to (as evidenced by the number of

people who lose weight and then gain it back with various diets)
