People are likely to place the blame obesity on the individual. I realize

this and think that's too bad in light of everything that is done in the

food industry's power to get people to consumer more and more in this

unprecedented time of such readily available calories, when people suffer

and we spend about $99 billion dollars in health care annually to treat its

consequences, making everyone's health insurance go up. Obese children are

also a moral tragedy especially as much research suggests they cannot

discern what is an advertising and what is educating. The mindset

ultimately really doesn't afford much change, either.

I specifically asked if anyone had read the book. If anyone has read it, I

hope s/he emails me off-list. Thank you.
