Guest guest
People are likely to place the blame obesity on the individual. I realize this and think that's too bad in light of everything that is done in the food industry's power to get people to consumer more and more in this unprecedented time of such readily available calories, when people suffer and we spend about $99 billion dollars in health care annually to treat its consequences, making everyone's health insurance go up. Obese children are also a moral tragedy especially as much research suggests they cannot discern what is an advertising and what is educating. The mindset ultimately really doesn't afford much change, either. I specifically asked if anyone had read the book. If anyone has read it, I hope s/he emails me off-list. Thank you. Be the change you want to see in the world. -- Mohandas Gandhi
