I've heard the tanning helps with acne as well. I had a friend who's doctor prescribed her to go to a tanning salon because her whole body was covered in acne and the prescription meds just weren't working. That was news to me.

I just wanted to share this story with everyone regarding the weather and getting sick.

I recently contracted a cold virus which as usual has taken me down. The phlym is so much that it could start it's own revolution and win against people. Oh, right, it has already and is winning, it's called Chronic fatigue. Anyway, back to my story. I found this little youtube film a few weeks back about the man flu. It was hillarious about all of the whining they do. I showed my husband and bless his heart, it hurt his feelings.

We were coming home from church yesterday and I felt like crap. My husband asked me how I felt.I remembered the little film from you tube and I said,"well, not so great, but I didn't want to complain and start sounding like I had the man flu". I said that, knowing that I've been sick for several weeks already and that soon he would be catching my flu symptoms. I figured it was worth a a shot. I know we all have many reasons to whine, and we don't always cash in on them, and most men, who don't have chronic fatigue and fibro, or any other health issue are so funny how they whine and cry like they are dying when they have a cold.

Funny to me, I hope it is not offensive to anyone, just wanted to share. If you go to youtube.com and put man flu in the search you will see the films I am referring to. They are so funny.

Thanks,

Stacie

Stacie, this is so funny and so true. How we suffer so then I watch my boyfriend or son with a slight cough, or maybe slept an hr less than usual, or couldn't go to the bathroom one day, and boy you'd think the sky was falling! My boyfriend openly admits that he could never survive with the pain that I live in but doesn't admit to what a baby he becomes when sick. Thanks for the laugh. Hugs H
