Most interesting, Carlene. Thanks! I tried typing in my main

prescriptions to see how this card would compare with the card I have

from my insurance company ( " hospitalization only " plan), and also how

it would compare with having no discount card from any company (being

totally self-pay). Below are my findings (I rounded the numbers to

whole numbers; for example, $4.46 = $4, and $4.57 = $5)

DOM'S MED WITH NO CARD WITH MY INSURANCE CARD WITH THIS FREE CARD

#1 $21 $8 $19

#2 $14 $5 $12

#3 $10 $3 $8

#4 $48 $10 $76

#5 $78 $51 $75

#6 $10 $2 $13

I hope my chart showed up okay in the post. As you can see, there

appears to be a $2 savings off the " regular " price, but not always,

as in the case of Med #4, where their price is considerably higher

than what my pharmacy charges the uninsured customer.

It's a good thing that this card has an online database where you can

look up the prices for the specific pharmacy you use to see if this

card would save you money.

I guess my self-employed " hospitalization only " policy (costs

$300/mo.) is more valuable than I thought (doesn't pay for doctors'

visits, lab tests, x-rays, etc.) - but at least they have a decent

prescription card that goes with it.

Google, free prescription programs and it will come up. If you have no insurance and are not on medicade or medicare, you can find programs that will give free medication.
