Guest guest
Cancer Healing Research Trip Around the World Dissertation Completed on "Spontaneous" Remission Posted: 07 Feb 2011 02:11 PM PST "Spontaneous" Remission Research Update from A. - March 2011I am happy to report that I successfully defended my dissertation last semester and graduated with my PhD from the University of California at Berkeley on December 15th, 2010.If you would like to read a copy of my dissertation, you may do so by clicking here and then looking for the "PDF Download" link. (Blogspot unfortunately does not allow me to post PDF's; otherwise I would post it here). I cannot thank my interviewees enough for making this document what it is. My dissertation was, by necessity, long and wordy. If you are short on reading time, I recommend reading the Abstract and then jumping right to the Findings section. So what next?I am currently working on turning my dissertation into a book for cancer patients and designing a companion website that will allow people to both submit their healing stories online (anonymously if they wish) and/or search for healing stories that match their diagnosis. I hope that this book/website will prove to be both a source of support for cancer patients, and also a trove of rich data for researchers. I remain passionately interested in investigating why some people heal from cancer against unlikely odds, and I look forward to continuing to research and publish on this subject. If you would like to know when the book is coming out, please enter your email address below. I thank you for your interest and support. All my best, A. , PhDkellyturner@...
