Guest guest
Hi folks: Selenium in excessively large quantities is likely to be toxic. This study indicated that, although some signs of selenium toxicity were noted after a year's intake of 3200 mcg/day: " We observed no obvious selenium-related serious toxicities. " So the amount of selenium in a couple of bazil nuts daily (~200 mcg) is nowhere remotely close to dangerous levels. PMID: 15487766 Rodney.
