Guest guest
My doctor says I am in excellent health, and I am fit. I am on the thin side as most CRONers are.I get reaally tired of being hassled about this (mostly from overweight people) by the general public and the cruel comments about my being " too thin " . Actually I am within the low normal range weight for my height and age given that I am small boned. How do other CRON-ers deal with this? I have no desire to educate the general public about CR, and I dont want to discuss my CR lifestyle with strangers, but I would like to avoid cruel comments such as " Go eat a cookie! You look like a scarecrow! " and other such verbal assaults. The way I am dealing with it is to ignore it, say nothing and either change the subject or if the comment is especially nasty I just walk away. I have found if I say anything in self defense I get people bossing into my business and lifestyle choices and additional criticism about my weight that I really dont want to hear. Usually these are complete strangers or intrusive coworkers who I dont know very well. My friends and family are too caring to make such insensitive comments (or are also CRON folks like my spouse is, and my spouse does not think I am too thin). I would love to hear from others who have the same experience and how you choose to deal with it. arobin
