Guest guest Posted December 11, 2004 Report Share Posted December 11, 2004 It is now going on 5 months since I started the yoga practise I've discussed before because of poor sleep (VERY poor sleep). As I've related, my sleep is greatly improved. For the past few days, I now seem to be getting another benefit that had heretofore eluded me from CRON alone ---- a feeling of well being. Again, as with sleep I'm almost afraid to report it for fear of " jinxing " it (you could say I'm superstitious). To explain: I have been one of those people for whom CRON alone has never resulted in a change into a feeling of well being (even though promised by Walford in his book). Although I'm not depressed, neither am I diffused with a bit of a " high " that Walford talks about - something I always wished for. All along, I pretty much felt the same as before I started CRON afa mood. However the other benes I've gotten from CRON were certainly good enough : for example, I very rarely get sick anymore. No colds, flus, stomach viruses etc. Now after 4 1/2 months or so of yoga, are other benefits I've heard about kicking in???? I've posted in the past an anecdote about a woman who was able to throw away her depression meds after 9 months on yoga.
