Guest guest
My brother, a chemist, refuses to take artificial vitamins with the arguement that they are large molecules and that the manufacturing process will generate stereo versions that are likely to be unhealthy. While in nature only one version exists (either right-hand or left-hand, I am unsure which) man-made vitamins are likely to be some combination of orientations. He cited the case of artificial or man-made fats - the so called " trans fats " as a case in point. I am posing this question to our group. Has there ever been any consideration of the stereotype qualities of artificial vitamins? If so, what were the results? Thanks, Doug __________________________________________________
