I use specialteas.com .

I like Japanese Sencha (green), Chinese Gunpowder (green), and oolong. But they

have a huge offering.

Hi Tea Drinkers:

I realize that green tea is the conventional wisdom these days, but

does anyone know of any *empirical* evidence that green tea is

healthier than other types of tea? (that is, other types also made

from camellia sinensis - forget the 'herbal teas')

I drink all kinds of different types of tea. Some green, most not.

Taste-wise I find Earl Grey and Lapsang Souching by far the most

interesting. But quality varies and the best of them are quite

expensive.

Hi folks:

I drink most of my tea (all but the Lapsang Souchong) with LEMON, no

sugar. I use loose tea (to avoid the bleached paper in tea bags) and

put it in one of those little metal gizmos you can buy in kithen

gadget stores, and steep it for five minutes. Then I remove the tea

and add the lemon to the pot. What works best for me is to use three

slices of lemon plus two tablespoons of lemon juice, so that I get

some, but not too much, zest in the taste. That seems right for

between two and three litres of tea, which is about what I drink most

days. But it is not strong tea.

fwiw.
