Guest guest
FWIW, http://www.felinecrf.org/treatments.htm#high_phosphorus I have pondered the issue of high phosphorus content of veggies because a friend was required to control P in predialysis. That was just to lower dialysis reqt's, I think. This article talks about chronic renal failure in cats, but my point is that calcium carbonate is used to bind excess P in diet. Maybe some human biochemist can tell us how much Ca carbonate to reduce P intake to maybe 100% RDA instead of the 600% I ingest with veggies? Regards.
