FWIW, the Essentia brand has a pH of 9. It is small-clustered water AKA ionizated or microwater. >>> There are many companies that are marketing various kinds of water which are not different from regular water but which are more expensive. Mineral waters and spring waters have specific attributes based on the dissolved minerals. However, waters that are advertised as ionized, microwater, small-clustered, oxygenated, etc., etc. are generally rip-offs. What does is meant by microwater? Are the molecules smaller? They can't be. What is small-clustered? Little droplets vs. big droplets? Impossible to determine and impossible to test or prove. Ionized water means that there are ions of some mineral. Duh. All surface water contains ions in contrast with rain water which almost pure. Oxygenated water is water which has been treated with oxygen. Ozonization (treatment with ozone O3) will kill bacteria and it is a common way of purifying water. However, drinking any water with residual hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) would be foolish because it only generates free radicals as it decomposes into the oxygen free radical (O:) and H20. It is these free radicals that kill the bacteria. Treatment of water with oxygen O2 basically cannot do more that areation would not do, and not enough oxygen dissolves in the water to be of more benefit than taking an extra breath. When you select your drinking water, select a spring water that is pure and not too high in minerals (e.g., a mountain spring water) to avoid the risk of kidney stones that can occur with waters that have many dissolved minerals. The southern US has a higher incidence of kidney stones than the north and it is known as the " stone belt " . http://www.urologyinstitute.com/html/kidney_stones.html http://www.mayoclinic.org/kidneystones-jax/ Tony
