And just think how she would have looked if she had known about safflower oil (chuckle).

You want to live to 120 and quibble about what you will look like? (ha) Hint: quit looking in the mirror. Outside looks are not important (I now do my own haircuts- takes about 2 mins.).

We age pardner. The trick is to beat the light before it changes, because there may accidentally be new technology that will change the way we look. Not likely, but maybe. I think 99% is buried in the 8million abstracts in Medline.

Did you ever think maybe that's what we're supposed to look like when we get to be adults? (a little silly philosophy)

Regards.

Subject: [ ] world’s oldest woman

A story on MSNBC has a picture of an old woman believed to be 125years old. When I looked at the picture, I asked myself whether Iwould look like that if I lived another 62 years. A second questionwas whether I would want to live to 120 if I knew that I would looklike that.Tony

I agree JW. Although I'm as vain a woman as the next female, I realize that

beauty is only skin deep. What good is plastic surgery (or a stomach staple

for that matter?), if your body is declining from bad living, and you're

gonna die young? Give me good health and few wrinkles anyday.

P.S. Wear a hat in the strong sun and use sunblock in the summer -

something I'm sure this impoverished woman never even heard of. Or she'd

probably look a lot better. Kudos to her for making it to 125 (if the story

is true) esp after such a hard life.

Hi All,

The story is real, her stated age is not.

Cheers, Al.
