Gould of 'The median is not the message' fame still around

Jay Gould, who wrote a well-publicized and

very good article on the meaning of longevity

statistics

apparently still alive and hopefully doing well, for

he has a new book out.

(I only mention this because every once in a while,

someone inquires about Mr. Gould's health. This book

didn't get good reviews, but at least he is still

apparently writing)

PS, his short article on longevity statistics IS

really good, and everyone who is concerned about

cancer statistics should read it!
