Guest guest
Hi Francesca: Then of course there is the following study which indicates that it seems it may be the bran that is responsible for the benefits of whole grains. http://snipurl.com/c356 Does anyone know of other studies that have compared the benefits of the three components of grains individually and in the various possible combinations? It does seem clear that the endosperm on its own confers no special benefit beyond the calories. Are there any studies that show that the whole grain is superior to just the bran?
