Guest guest
Hi, I am an American who lives in Eastern Europe. I browse the web and get alot of my nutrition advice from American websites. However, there is a very large caveat for persons living outside of the States in relying on US websites for nutritional info. Nutrition information at American websites assume food purchased in the States, such food in many cases benefit from statutory supplementation (such as folate acid in bread, iodine and vitamin D in milk etc.). In many other countries, there is zero supplementation. So, if you are not resident in America, just be aware that by buying milk in most places outside of the US, you do not get Vitamin D, iodine etc. etc., regardless what the US-based websites tell you. Guest guest
These are good points and as I've noted before as (if?) we move away from the AL food supply we also move away from some of the hidden supplementation that goes on. General AL advice is only good in general and not for serious nutritionanistas.
