Guest guest
TK: Your study " suggests a hypothesis " only . While it may be true about viruses (who knows?) - a 5 year old reference isn't very recent. on 4/27/2005 4:10 PM, tigerpatronus at tigerpatronus@... wrote: > > > >> Antibiotics don't help prevent heart attacks, show two large new > studies >> in The New England Journal of Medicine. Guest guest
I suspect this was most disappointing to large drug companies looking for another market to sell some patented drug into. The lack of a concise proof in this case is probably just as well. There are other probably more significant vectors for heart disease to focus on. (Too much) Inflammation is bad, bacteria (in heart tissue) is probably bad, so what? Too much antibiotics is bad, too much water is bad, too much FOOD...... Only 3 percent of the population are following what the Govt thinks is a healthy lifestyle and they don't set the bar very high. It seems they're missing the forest for the trees.
