Guest guest Posted April 20, 2005 Report Share Posted April 20, 2005 Hi Aequalsz: One possible deficiency in that study MAY be that, as far as I can see, it did not differentiate the types of alcoholic beverage consumed. Studies that do make that distinction come out with major differences between beverages. Including negative effects from liquor, as opposed to major beneficial effects of wine - study done at the Danish Epidemiology Science Center around 1992. So, most likely it is not the alcohol that confers the benefit.
