Guest guest
>>>How about both? Heres why. Run the nutritional analysis of this recipe. Than, remove the oil first and replace it with the equal calories of vegetables, like chopped tomato, peppers, cucumber, parsley etc. Than redo the analysis and see what happened. Caloric density will go way down (a good thing), Nutrient density will go way up ( a good thing) and food volume will also go way up increasing satiety (a really good thing on CR-ON). Next, start from the original and leave the oil in and remove the nuts and again replace with equal calories of tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, parsley etc. Then redo the analysis and see what happened. It will be worse in all mentioned categories. So, leaving the nuts and taking the oil out is better than leaving the oil in and taking the nuts out. Ok, nuts are better than oil Now, start with original recipe again. Remove BOTH the nuts and oil and replace again with the equal caloires of tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, parsley, etc. Then redo the analysis and see what happened. The caloric density will be DRAMATICALLY better as will the nutrient density as well as the volume of food. Since CR-ON equals finding the appropriate caloric level of restriction and also getting the most nutrients for the least calories... Than the last option is clearly the most optimal for CR-ON. The one with just nuts and no oil, would be next, but a far second. The one with nuts and oils would be the worst. Regards Jeff
