Guest guest
Some have speculated that with CR, the immune system is more efficient. In addition, it is suspected that " normal " may not be entirely normal WRT WBC#. Those additional WBCs may be autoreactive or indiciative of excess inflammation, induced by an " overfed " state. Thedifferential count was normal, and the absolute number of Neutrophilswas lower than the normal. The test is going to be repeated next weekfor verification.I know that WBCs are low for people on CR, but this neighbor is not calorically restricted or on any medication. Does anybody have anidea why the WBCs might be low?Tony
Guest guest
Hi : This reminds me of the time not that long ago when people with total cholesterol of 250 to 300 were told their cholesterol was 'normal' simply because most of the population had similar numbers. That most were gonna die of heart disease didn't seem to be considered relevant. Duh!
