New not-so-new member

I just rejoined thanks to my neighbor. He is overweight, eats a high

fat diet, and is now recovering from a quintuple! bypass surgery. His

experience was a huge wake-up call for my husband and me. I welcomed

the day with fruit and nuts (a few) for breakfast and a huge salad for

lunch.

We are big fans of Dr. Walford's and Dr. Fuhrman (Eat to Live) books.

Even though I've been a member before, does anyone want to offer any

advice? What links or knowledge helped you the most in the beggining?

(I have his books and have read them....looking for other advice :))
