re: Regarding the link to endorse Betsy's CMS letter: http://bit.ly/r8tB3j

" I know that many of you saw the petition that was started a couple of weeks

ago urging full reimbursement of RIT and many of you have signed it. We have

less than 2 weeks to get at least 250 more signatures (more would be

better). With your help, we can do it! " ~ Betsy

Dear Betsy,

As you know, I've added my name to those who have endorsed your letter,

which I found to be on point -- a compelling argument for a change in CMS

reimbursement policy.

In PAL's letter to CMS we asked:

" Why has CMS classified parts of an approved FDA therapeutic as diagnostic?

And what would be the side effect of such policy if not a disincentive to

develop novel, personalized therapeutics that can improve safety and

efficacy? "

And since the diagnosis of a lymphoma affects entire families and all of our

loved ones, I consider it appropriate to ask our family and friends to

endorse your letter as well -- to help to persuade CMS to amend a flawed

policy that creates an often-cited disincentive to prescribe RIT. It's

easy: http://bit.ly/r8tB3j

Thanks again, Betsy, for your tireless efforts in defense of RIT.

All the best,

~ Karl
